Twist Cube
Twist Cube
Twist the cube to its goal to unlock your cache.
Loading your cube...
A puzzle cube. Drag a sticker along its row or column to turn that layer a quarter turn, or drag the empty space around the cube to turn the view. The move buttons below the cube turn each layer too, and on a keyboard the letters U, D, L, R, F and B turn a face clockwise and the same letter with Shift turns it back.
Drag a sticker along its row or column to turn it. Drag the space around the cube to look at another side.

Twist it back.
Press a sticker and drag it along its row or column: that whole layer turns with your finger. Let go past halfway and it clicks into a quarter turn; let go sooner and it springs back. Drag the space around the cube to turn it and see the other sides. The three sides facing away are also shown flat under the cube, and you can drag those stickers too.
The move buttons turn one layer each. U, D, L, R, F and B are the top, bottom, left, right, front and back faces, turned clockwise as you look straight at that face; the ones with a mark (U') turn the other way. On the bigger cube, M, E and S turn the middle slices. On a keyboard, press the letter, or Shift and the letter for the other way.
The goal is shown at the top. "Twists from solved" means the cube was scrambled with that many turns, so that many good turns put it back. The cube counts as solved in any position, so it does not matter which color ends up on top.
Every quarter turn counts as a move, and a half turn counts as two. Undo takes back your last turn and gives the move back. Reset puts the cube back the way it started and sets the count to zero. When the owner set a move limit, finish within it.
In a Move Code cache there is a board of cubes, each only a few turns from solved, and a key cube whose layers carry labels. Tap a cube to open it. Every quarter turn writes that layer's label on the tape under the cube (a half turn writes it twice), and Undo takes it off again. Solve a cube in the fewest turns possible and it locks with its tape. Solve it the long way and it starts over, because the code counts only the shortest way. When every cube is locked, the tapes read the answer, and the plus signs mean add the two numbers.
When the cube reaches the goal, it is checked with the server and the reveal opens. Your turns are saved on this device, so you can come back later.
Sound is off until you turn it on with the speaker button. Motion turns the turning animation on or off.
