Crack the case.
Every suspect had exactly one item from each list, and no two suspects shared one. The case file tells you something about the culprit, and the clues tell you the rest. Every case can be solved by logic alone, with no guessing.
The grid pairs every item with every item from the other lists. Tap a cell once to cross it out when a pair cannot be, twice to mark a match, and a third time to clear it. With Auto-cross on, a match crosses out the rest of its row and column in that box for you.
Matches carry across boxes: if Muggle Mike was at the fire tower, then whatever Mike had, the person at the fire tower had too. When only one cell in a row of a box is left open, it is the match.
This is a hard case. At least once you will need one more step: two items that share no possible partner in some third list cannot belong to the same suspect, even though no clue says so.
The times run in order, earliest first. "Right before" means the very next time slot, and "before" means any earlier one.
When you know the culprit, choose who, with what and where, then tap Accuse.
